Common problems of laptops and possible solutions

  All laptops do have faults irrespective of the brand you are using and it is often difficult to tell the causes of these problems. Most times, these faults are what one should be able to fix without the knowledge of computer repairs. This article is intended to open your eyes to some possible solutions to laptop headache. Possible solutions to laptop problems
Power problems: Check if the laptop is plugged into a working electrical outlet by looking at the led power indicators. Also check if the battery is properly seated and nothing is making it to shake. If the problem persists, remove the power adapter, remove the battery, press the power button and wait for five seconds. Replace the battery and plug in the power and then power up the laptop.
Laptop not booting up properly: Just go into the safe mode by pressing the F8 key on your keyboard during startup and try to clean up your computer using an antivirus. If the problem persists, you can format the system and then reinstall the operating system from the CDs that were supplied with the laptop.
Dropped laptops: Most times, dropped laptops defy immediate solution because of the extent of the damage. This can lead to the damage of the screen, cracking of the case and other numerous problems. The best thing to do here is to replace the damaged parts and then repair it.
You are losing battery power quickly: If your system has power option, check the settings and make setting the settings that will save your battery power. If the problem persists, get a new battery to avoid unnecessary headache.
Battery pack is not charging: This may be due to excessive hot or cold temperature. Place the battery in  a suitable environment and after it returns to normal temperature, charge it again. If the problem persists, the battery may need a replacement.
Speed problems: If your laptop speed is too slow because of low system memory, try to upgrade the memory for better performance. Ensure that your laptop has at least 1GB of system memory as a bare minimum.
